Scottsdale Fashion Square
Scottsdale Fashion Square is a 1.9 million square foot super-regional shopping center that is defined by its best-in-class retailers including Lululemon, Anthropologie, Tesla, Zara, and Sephora and renowned for its luxury collection with brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Cartier, and Bottega Veneta.  Soozan Baxter Consulting was retained in summer 2016 to focus on the center’s redevelopment, with a keen eye on the luxury wing, anchored by Neiman Marcus.
Soozan Baxter, who is leading the brand discussions, is building on the legacy of luxury that is already in place, and whereby increasing the number of luxury tenants within Scottsdale Fashion Square. Beyond the amplification of premium brands in the center, the redevelopment will include the creation of a grand arrival point outside of the Neiman Marcus court; soaring storefronts to showcase the latest retailer prototypes; new finishings within the center including lighting and flooring; and a world-class marketing program.   Macerich, which is the No. 3 shopping center REIT, is providing a dedicated team of executives from many disciplines including development, leasing, design, marketing, and operations.  Scottsdale Fashion Square is poised to be a global retail showcase upon completion.
