In 2010, eBay.com hired Soozan Baxter Consulting to help build a branded fashion outlet mall to be hosted on their website, which receives more than 10 million visits to its home page each day, has 100 million average daily searches, and touts 95 million active users worldwide. Leveraging industry relationships, Soozan Baxter signed key anchor deals with Neiman Marcus Last Call and Coach, and introduced eBay to many other small shops throughout her tenure with eBay.com. The outlet mall micro-site launched in fall 2011 to great fanfare, allowing its customers to “buy direct” from branded stores.
